Beekeeper	Soukas Nikolaos Soukas Nikolaos is the third generation of beekeepers in his family. Although he is only 31 years old, he has been helping with beekeeping since he was 3 years old and doing it alone since he was 12, so his beekeeping career has been nearly 30 years. The apiary is located on a mountain at an altitude of 2,355 meters, about 200 kilometers from the capital Athens. The entire mountain has been designated as "Hermos-Voulaicos National Park" to protect its beautiful scenery and ecosystem. Most of the mountain is covered with Greek fir, and it is known as one of the producers of high-quality Erato honey.
Honey harvesting area details	Lefkada, an island in the Ionian Islands in western Greece, is a popular Greek island for beach lovers. It is known for its beautiful beaches facing the deep blue sea. There is a floating bridge, so you can drive from the Greek mainland to Lefkada. The writer Koizumi Yakumo (Lafcadio Hearn) was born on this island, and his surname "Lafcadio" comes from the name of the island. The Soukas family visits Lefkada every summer for their vacation and harvest thyme honey.
