Honey harvesting area Ispica (Iblei Mountains), Ragusa Province, Sicily
Honey harvesting area details The Ibreian Mountains (also known as Monti Ibrei or the Hiverean Mountains) are a mountain range in southeastern Sicily, stretching from the provinces of Ragusa, Syracuse, and Catania. The range is not particularly high, with its highest peak, Mount Lauro, at 986m. Originally a plateau, it was carved by rivers, creating several deep gorges.
Agriculture is thriving in the coastal areas, taking advantage of the Mediterranean climate, and olives, grapes, citrus fruits, almonds, and other crops are grown in terraced fields.
Monti Ivray is also known as a DOP (Italian Protected Designation of Origin) olive oil.
Recommended way to eat The gentle floral scent is a perfect match for the mellow taste of milk tea, with a soft fragrance that leaves a pleasant aftertaste.

・It pairs well with the tartness of cream cheese. It is well balanced with the gentle sweetness, and the light richness of the cheese brings out the floral aroma unique to multi-flower honey. It also tastes great with crackers.

・When combined with yogurt, it mellows out the sourness while adding a gentle sweetness. The floral scent spreads softly, making it enjoyable like a dessert.
